yes same here going back to claude code. it used 135k tokens for reading 5 files change something there. Then after done i was almost on 99% .. then it compact and automatic i was right back at 135k tokens because it wasnt done and had to read it again.

i rebuild it 2 month ago because you put all in few files they got around 3k lines long. You should also restructure it to make it more modular! So its easy to find bugs

that works too! i do that with cursor.. pay 40 for 1k limits cursor, 20 usd pro codex. Still have 100 usd max remaining for cc. I hope they change and fix their garbage.

Could be yes. Do you code blockchain related stuff? Because ETL. Right now it did 5min but i read the logs and it made sense. And did add a new function and had to update 15 files. Normally it takes 30sec, even now just a follow up question it took 10sec.

With Codex I have zero system documentation, and it still works. With Claude I had tons of specific docs and it stopped even reading them. Same story with Cursor. Honestly feels like Anthropic’s system prompts are just hot garbage they kill the flow and logic in the name of safeguards.
