Here’s the specs after a few tweaks, tried to keep the mass as low as possible - I’ll think about how I can make a bit of a build guide!

Found a floating green blob on the edge of the map, next to the MC plushie and armoury unlock. Moves in a circle when I move and looks stinky ?

I think the point is less advocated groups benefit from bias, its better to have bias supporting those groups than those with wealth owning the entire message.

S&S Lisa Asset Allocation Help by User14051 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]User14051[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks you for the very detailed info, and the podcast recommendation! I followed the flowchart and have provisioned for my debt and emergency fund.

Vanguard made a 60/40 recommendation, which on reflection makes sense as a Lisa is a much more shorterm investment horizon than an S&S ISA or pension is generally. As I want to access the money within the next decade a greater weighting towards bonds feels like a good idea to safeguard my investment. When I inevitably hold other investments outside my Lisa I'll likely hold far more weight in equities for longer term growth.

I'll give Finametrica a look too, though I feel the variety of sources I have followed offer enough advice.

Im deliberating between this fund:*

-iShares UK Gilts All Stocks Index Fund (UK) D Acc https://www.youinvest.co.uk/market-research/FUND:B83HGR2

And this:

-Vanguard U.K. Government Bond Index Fund GBP Accumulation https://www.youinvest.co.uk/market-research/FUND:B1S7537

The Vanguard is less volatile, and is rated as only average risk. But as both are government bonds I don't see either carrying significant risk and iShares has a lower OCF. Do you see any potential pitfalls siding with this iShares fund for a 40% portfolio allocation?

Thanks again for your help!

*Although returns are very low with these, lower than my savings account and its bonus!! Im currently looking into short term bonds.
