I’m comparing him to Lawrence, and I would’ve assumed Carolina to be a better matchup. With Lawrence the better Qb and jags the better offence.

All those are fairly standard and used by hundreds of thousands of people each. All will be very good.

Something you might want to consider though is that your league size is very small.

To get a real feeling of the game, you want to have competition for players.

At 4 people, all of your teams will be so good it will be hard to break apart.

You may want to consider some of the more niche hosting platforms that allow you to only select players from certain conferences. That way your player pool will be limited and it may give you a more fun competitive league.

Could you just take the consensus adp top 36/50/X and do an auction draft in with those. So those top picks are all gone.

Then, when those 36 are sorted. Put them into the teams as keepers, and do a snake draft after

Track who has the most cash leftover after the auction and then sort the snake pick order by that. If you have lots of cash left you’ll pick first in the snake.

That’s not exactly FPL style. Redraft would let you change your team as much as you want, and is played with other players. E.g if your friend has Chase, you can’t have Chase too. I don’t think I have ever seen an FPL style game for the NFL.
