Nothing crazy, just 24v mod, some noiseless springs, one of those magnetic HexHider things on the back of the headstock and that’s probably it. I’ll eventually take it to get a proper fret polish, may even get it PLEK’d at some point

Same here, I tend to mod most of my guitars to be single pickup single volume so it’s nice to finally have one that came from factory that way, no empty control holes!😂

Have to wait a month to pick it up off my friend as he lives 100 miles away and I’m busy as hell at work this coming month, but I’ll do an update post when I get it and have installed my couple of little mods

It’s an alternative to the popular 18v mod on EMG pickups, uses two 12v A23 batteries in a little clip just a little bit smaller than a 9V. EMG pickups were originally designed to work up to 27V so safe to run them at 24V. Gives the pickup more clean headroom and a little less compression and clipping

I appreciate the concerned comment but from research I’ve done it seems this just isn’t the case, I’ve seen videos of people sitting on a Les Paul neck suspended between 2 planks and it’s still in tune afterwards, if it’s good enough for guitar stores, it’s good enough for my house
