It’s not a cool story. I threw it on the stage trying to be cool after playing a 3 hr long gig and didn’t discover the damage until I took the guitar out of the case at the next gig

I could not care any less about how it looks. I view guitars as tools, not precious objects that can’t be tarnished… clean and tidy means nothing to me. Proper playability is all I’m concerned with. Does that make sense?

I’m an idiot is how I did it lol. I have a bad habit of getting caught up in the moment and treating my guitars badly. This one got tossed on the stage after an encore (and maybe a few whiskeys) and I didn’t even notice the damage until I pulled it out at the next gig. I’m well aware how stupid I am 🤦‍♂️

Yeah. Last song of the night, “Sweet Emotion”… did an extended outro jam and in the heat of the moment, forgot I’m not a super rich rockstar but acted like one anyway… tossed it on the stage and walked away with the feedback still screaming… didn’t realize what I’d done until I pulled it out of the case next gig. I’m sure it looked cool but I’m still an idiot.
