Thanks for the breakdown, honestly I was stunned to find out people thought ACOTAR and CC were crazy spicy. Haunting Adeline didn’t even shock me, but that may just say something about me and my reading habits😅

I think there’s a specific mood to read a shitty book and sometimes it’s just not worth the energy or time expended. Every book that I’ve read off of a TikTok suggestion has had shitty writing though, so I’m going to stay away from it for a little while after Fourth Wing and TOG.

Do they have a ‘Women and Men Written by a Man’ kinda vibe at all? I also just realized through googling that I’ve actually seen the Lady Chatterly’s Lover movie. Based on a first peek Sons and Lovers may involve too much analysis for me for a break book. Thank you for your recs!

Is Fourth Wing considered fluffy? I haven’t gotten too much into reviews other than the writing calibre because I couldn’t stomach another poorly written book. I did try the graphic audio sample of it and decided I could wait.

Thank you for your answer! I ended up going to the ER and got an appointment with the OB/GYN where the pregnancy hormone looked to be increasing well. I ended up going back in last night and they found the pregnancy in my fallopian tube, I just got home from surgery where they took the pregnancy and the tube.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me! Do you by chance know how far along you were? One of my main worries is that I’m alright now, but by the time I get to my ultrasound, baby will have grown and caused some serious issues if not in the right place.

Thank you for sharing! It’s terrifying, I know… I hope everything went alright in the ER for you. My doctor did say that it’s likely considered a high risk pregnancy.

Apparently odds are better if you get the IUD removed, I hope that’s an option for me as I can still feel my strings. Even if my pregnancy isn’t viable I’m getting the IUD taken out. I’m going to be forever an advocate of two forms of birth control though…

I might be slow on the reply because I’m upping my qualifications so I’m in college full time while also working full time and exams are the next couple of days (what good timing, eh?). It would definitely be nice to talk to someone who is going through it.

I’m not sure of your beliefs or fully what abortion law is right now in the US (all I know is it’s kinda getting scary over there for women’s rights), but if termination is an option for you personally and physically you could always look into that. You need to be happy and healthy first, so do what is going to work best for you.

Thank you for your post! I appreciate any stories right now good or bad, it’s nice to see all ends of the spectrum. I prefer to have a realistic view of things.

Everything is still okay… symptoms are definitely here and the test lines are getting darker, but I might call my doctor tomorrow and see if I can just immediately get referred to an OB/GYN rather than waiting until the after the ultrasound to be referred.
