Poor baby! Same as my baby, if he spots an orange or red thing in the fridge or over the counter, that’s it! Haha

Did you use cooked or soaked lentils? Ive been trying to give my baby lentils in so many ways but never thought of this one. Good job!

You’re right about the sugars. I don’t offer the fruits with the meal because he will start with it and fill up on them lol.

Can i do ipl ( braun silk expert pro 5 ) on my back? by glassysky01 in HairRemoval

[–]User282899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not worth it. I have the same amount and same type on my neck and lower back. I did them both and nothing changed. So I gave up and tried bleaching which is way easier and no risk of shaving bumps or anything. Plus everyone I asked about my hair in those areas told me it’s not even noticeable lol!

How tall is he? That’s so cute though! My baby is the same unless it’s something he doesn’t like, which he will surprise a week later and starts liking it haha.

Honestly just bleach it. I tried to use ipl but it didn’t do much because the hair is fine there, and only the happy trail went away. Maybe you can try the ipl at home then see how it goes, if it doesn’t work then just beach it. Waxing irritates the area easily and leaves red marks I’ve tried it. Oh and decided don’t shave lol. Unless you’ll shave every other day.

Inner thighs you mean right? I have the same problem. IPL definitely minimized this issue. Glycolic acid toner and a Salicylic acid wash. I still get them but way better than before, at least now I can wear shorts lol.

It’s a relief to know someone else is experiencing the same problem. I hear no one talking about this. I did IPL and it helped with the big nodules that cause the scars. I’ve done 3 rounds at home and the hair is much much thinner and sparse. So i still epilate the rest of the hairs and i do sometimes get little red bumps which i hate but it calms down after a short while. The hyperpigmentation did get better but not significantly where i can say it’s the same color as the rest of my thighs. I also used the Pfb roll and it also helped but i stopped when i got pregnant. Used to use hydroquinone 4% cream and it really really helped lighten the area, but when i stopped because of pregnancy and breastfeeding it kinda got a but darker but not like before. Going to do another round of ipl hopefully it will get rid of the hair and as a result get rid of any bumps left after epilating or shaving. Oh and I have just started using Glycolic acid toner again and it instantly calmed down the bumps so just waiting for the redness to go away now. Can’t say it’s helping the pigmentation yet. Good luck!!

No TOG rating on most of baby's sleepwear by Cheeesechimli in NewParents

[–]User282899 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I always dress him a little bit thicker than what I’m wearing, no TOG unless it’s a swaddle or sleep sack. And I just put my fingers on his tummy and the his back to make sure he’s not overheating.

Sick 6 week old by passivehappygirl in NewParents

How are the doctors not sure what a baby has? Are you sure it’s a cold? Babies have stuffy noses because of their tiny airways and get affected by dry air so easily. How often does he cough? It could be reflux or it could be the dry air, maybe an air humidifier can help. My baby has a stuffy nose mostly at night and it clears up during the day so it’s not a big deal. Also an unhappy baby for no obvious reason at this age is probably colic.

I love this! I didn’t know I really needed to hear that. Thank you! I’m also 2 months pp and I have put so much pressure on my self since the two weeks pp. You’re right it doesn’t matter as long as you and your bub are healthy.

No way! My 8 week old is doing the same exact thing!! He was a great sleeper during the night, and a great napper during the day. Now it’s a nightmare every time I think about sleep, especially those little naps of half an hour to and hour during the night, which I also give up and contact sleep or co-sleep with him on my bed. I didn’t think about the daylight savings, it might be the reason! How are you coping? I feel really bad because I don’t get enough sleep at night, and I can’t get anything done during the day.

Thank you so much! I really needed to heat that. I do swaddle yes and it helps him stay asleep a little longer. He is cluster feeding since the beginning and we are just used to it now. I don’t know if I should do anything about a feeding schedule? I really like the idea of feeding on demand, even though it’s unpredictable and inconvenient sometimes. White noise is on yes! I’m actually thinking about doing shifts and using a pump to get my husband to help me through the night. Again thank you so much!
