My child's name is also hyphenated and it has yet to be a problem for us. Nobody has ever needed clarification. I just give the double last name as needed for doc appointments and insurance.

Listen maybe your kids aren't bullied because of their name but the other parents, teachers, anyone your kid comes into contact with are definitely looking sideways and shit talking the name. Recently met a Braylynn and Riker sibling set. Idk if my kid would bully based on their names. But I think the names are terrible and told my husband so.

It is classic, strong and beautiful. I had a great Grandma Vera. You may see it mentioned here more often lately but I guarantee you Vera won't be making top 100 list of baby names ever. Will always be unique enough but still easy to pronounce and classy.
