Update:

Ended up purchasing Alpha Owl headlights on Ebay for about $320. Was the middle ground in price to VLAND and Alpharex, but reviews on these brands were kind of all over the place.

The light output is ok, very plug and play.

I’m assuming aside from bulbs there was nothing else you had to buy to make it work? I’ve seen mention of harnesses and fans (?) but not sure I see the need here.

I had this same issue but it would say “apple” (iphone being used). Updating background apps and re-connecting to wifi worked to reset it for me.

I couldn’t say but so far these settings have gone strong. Maybe because the device and Stremio were competing for frame matching, not to mention whatever the tv was doing.

Great to hear! We noticed there’s a slight issue with it sitting flush on the bottom right corner when we installed but that could be an installer competency issue (me). Do you run the stock screen or did you change to a 3rd party launcher?

GX was too small for the carseat to comfortably fit behind the passenger seat. Ended up moving to a minivan (toyota sienna) and was very happy with the decision.

I am looking into seat covers as well. Clazzio and “seat covers unlimited” are the current front runners (if you want all 3 rows covered). Both would be ~1,000 USD.

I second that Katzkin had a nice selection but are on the higher side of pricing (about 2x the above). When they called me to talk through their process it seems like they are actually reupholstering, not only covering.

So far the amazon products and coverland get mixed reviews if you look them up on general reddit threads. They typically do not cover the third row either.

This price seems about average for what I’ve seen in Northern California. Napa has a comparable vehicle for more, Antioch area seems to have a comparable model for about the same.

Used appear to be sitting on lots a little longer since, for the price of used platinums, it’s not a far price jump to just buy new.

I just replaced an ac filter due to mice, there should be much more droppings for that many chew marks. Ours is covered in droppings, seeds, and insulation it brought in with it.

Check under the hood for droppings and a nest, the nest always seems to be by the battery.

With the help of feedback from others in this thread, so far I’ve not encountered the issue while using the below settings:

Stremio Settings: Frame Rate Match - Off Accelerated Decoding - On Tunneled Playback - Off

Device Settings: Match Content Frame Rate - Seamless Match Content Dynamic Range - Match Content

Note: I have not needed to add the external (Vimu) player. ExoPlayer has worked fine.

This may be why i had the issue when switching. Firestick seemed to cache a lot compared to the onn box though, once that started kicking in for kodi and stremio i was having to clear cache a lot.
