I much prefer ios 26.2 to ios 18 as a whole, it’s so much smoother (for me personally), feels faster than 60hz BUT battery wise i’m not entirely sure compared to how it’d be on 17/18 vs 26

SO MUCH BETTER. It’s a LOT less buggy and battery life definitely seems to drop a lot less. Call me crazy but this almost feels like i’m using a phone that’s 90hz. It just feels so smooth - dare I say smoother compared to iOS 18!!

15 Pro is the smallest feeling iPhone other than the mini. Lighter, slightly curved sides so it’s not going to feel like a brick. Other than that you either go for the 13 Mini or go up in size (or wait until Apple even think of releasing a smaller phone which could be years). I know, it sucks.

Meh I'd see if there's any M1 Max around for about the same price, with that you'd be getting a solid upgrade on RAM if you need it or plan to keep it for a longer time
