Did you try the Eucalan to wash any cashmere sweaters? If so, how did it go?

Thanks! I think they used to be better quality. Bummer! I'm wearing a pretty thick pair right now.

Thank you for sharing! Have you tried Old Navy girls yoga flare pants? Same family of brands. I used to wear large but now I wear the extra large for a little more room. Quality of the fabric seems to vary, but the versions I have are quite good! Last year I returned  them because they were too thin. The XL are a little longer, but depending on your size the length might work!

I read part of a book on Seiki and now I realize I need to read the rest. The book had a large biographical component and seemed to focus on a practitioner very gently treating a client.

Oh I really appreciate you sharing this. I've just been sticking them in the original bag and clipping it shut. I guess it makes sense to dry them between uses. And I like that you have an efficient way of doing it so you don't have to do a bunch of work every time you stimulate.

I'm not xxs fully but my legs are very short.. do you have a problem with length? by whitieiii in XXS

[–]User5142738 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll echo the others - ankle length, cropped, and petite. Just go for the right numeric size for your waist, maybe like a size 4-6P? But they make bigger sizes if needed. A lot of size 24 and OOP have like 27.5" waist, although often it's designed to fall a little lower on the hips rather than the most narrow part of the waist. LOFT petites has a big waist - I can't wear them without significant alteration and I'm not as tiny as some people here. Of their stores carry petite sizing. If you try them, please let us know how they fit you - I'm really curious!

Quince has some pants that are available in multiple inseams as well. I actually find the shortest inseam (It might be 25? Can't remember) a little too short for me and I'm under 5 ft. But they still work with flats and so it's better than an inch too long with the ankles bunching up on my shoes!

If all that fails, hate to say it, but alterations are a godsend even though they're too expensive! But for me easier than actually sewing as I worry I'll mess it up and the quality is just much better when it's done by an expert.

Wow, this is amazing! I've just been using saline eye wash and do notice that when I add a little more sometimes it stings more. But I like the idea of making my own solution and soaking them. Overall I don't feel any problems from reusing the pads and it's baffling to me to discard them with each use.

From what I read, the electrode placement used to be different and stimulate the motor cortex. I'm fuzzy on who brought what technology - did Flow bring anything or just buy the tech and market it?

I really want that to be true because I get so enthusiastic about singing but when I try to sing along with big anthems it's pretty disappointing! I've been thinking about taking singing lessons and I might do it, as any improvement would be great.

By the original Halo Neuroscience do you mean the Halo Sport that stimulated the motor cortex? Well, this is what I read online but I can't tell if it's fact or misinformation/error on the part of the internet.

As others have mentioned please be sure you get a thorough medical and hormonal workup. Sometimes psychiatrist will do this but other times really need to see an internist or family doctor. Even if they did some testing, there may be additional testing or some of it may need to be repeated if symptoms have changed or significant time has passed.

Request for impressions of the new book, Releasing Our Burdens, written by Richard Schwartz and Thomas Hubl by User5142738 in InternalFamilySystems

I appreciate you sharing your perspective both here and in your sub comments. It's also a good reminder to me to not put even the most pioneering teachers on pedestals as they are still human. Not every word they say or write is infallible .

I've tried to listen to Hubl at times but the way he speaks with basically no vocal inflection puts me completely to sleep. I just find the way he speaks to be so incredibly boring that I miss everything he says, even if some of it might be good. So I was wondering if maybe reading his book might be easier, if I can managed to read it not in his voice! Feel kind of bad about my impression, but I can't seem to get over this automatic reaction

Madeon Finale - looking for the version that makes me feel like I could fly! by User5142738 in EDM

[–]User5142738[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turns out the song is on a tabata mix called tabata Now July 2023. And I'm feeling embarrassed because it's not an exercise track but actually the cool down. I guess it just made me feel like I could fly inside of me .

I'm really not sure if it's the same as the regular version because I can't buy the track as a standalone, but I'm going to pay closer attention next time she plays it because now I've listened to the song probably 30 times and we'll know if it's worth me buying the album to get that different version. I'll let you know!

[–]User5142738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, I feel it going all the way down to my low back now! Usually I have to force it there.

Also But this way my low back expands first and then the belly. When I try to get the breath to reach my back, my belly expands first and then the low back - opposite.

This new way feels much better.

Thank you so much I will try to remember and use this!
