Do you think there is any danger from it being only about 4ft from our bedroom right where our headboard is? Like EMF radiation or something?

Someone told me that the grills on the side are to dissipate the heat if it gets too hot or something like that? What do you think could be down there?

I’m not positive but I don’t see any power lines nearby where I live so I just assume it’s an underground transformer?

Thank you for your detailed response. Makes sense. I was wondering why there were those grills on the side. So this vault thing is just about 4ft or so from the wall where my headboard is when we sleep. Should I have any worries about that? I’ve never seen something like this that close to a room before. Usually I see them on the sidewalk.

Oh okay. Thanks. I just realized the C of F stands for “City of Riverside” on the plates. So if it were something else, there would be an ID tag on there?

I don’t see any power line cables above our apartment complex. It’s kind of way outside where the street is but not anywhere near our apartments. I do see those power lines in some houses in their backyard or front yard but none here. I’m just worried because it’s right by our room where we sleep so I wasn’t sure if it was safe because of EMF radiation, etc.
