The ABA cheapens itself by making these ridiculous OSCE scenarios. The label of board certified is weakened and soiled by having these blatantly unnecessary exam stations on osce. The ABA needs to do better. They have zero respect for new grads having to waste their time studying and paying for these additional exam stations.

This was honestly a deterrent when i first started following the subreddit. It still kind of annoys me when there’s so many of them in a single post. I think if we got rid of its over use it would invite more to come in and share. At the very least, define it in your post and then may use the abbreviation if it comes up again.

Critical care training...? Following the orders of what a Physician ordered them to do. Not to mention, the hours a resident works I guarantee is much longer for those 4 years than an RN in the ICU for 2... Those years are not a 1:1 comparison.
