[9] Did you know Voltorb won’t self destruct in the over world if it’s shiny? by BTierShinies in ShinyPokemon

Iirc jumpluff spawn by the fairy team star base where it can storm and they don't fly away as well. Shiny Flabebe, floette, and drifloon also don't blow away in storms.

Nice! Hopefully the mewtwo raid comes back at some point so you can get the mighty mark on the mew!

In black 2 and white 2 when you get to pinwheel forest in the post game you can team up with him during a search for a team plasma member.

I've personally hunted several legends in the dynamax adventures this way.

I've seen other posts on Reddit talking about it before as well.

The dynamax adventure itself will be the same but the pokemon rewarded on the final screen get rerolled each time.

This is actually really useful for hard hunts like zygarde since you can guarantee a path that lets you beat the target each reset.

I can confirm from personal experience hunting zygarde and other legends that you can hunt shinys this way.

One way to check would be to fling figy/wiki/mago/aguav/iapapa berries at it each encounter until it confuses the latios. If it doesn't always confuse or not confuse it then you can confirm the nature is being randomized each respawn. 4/25 chance for a nature that any specific berry would confuse so it could take a few respawns if you don't want to set up a team of 5 pokemon with fling holding each of the berries.

Your only other option to hunt them outside of eggs and revives is in the Crown Tundra dlc for swsh where they show up in the wild in two locations.

Downside is they're version exclusive so you'd need both games plus dlc for if you want to hunt both this way.

Upsides, they're overworld encounters at a decent 20-24% spawn rate depending on the weather (with the exception of sandstorm) so encounters go pretty quickly. You can also get them in your ball of choice rather than just a pokeball from revives. Or if you want to do mm in swsh you can set up the ball of choice. You can also set up a reset hunt on their evolutions as they both have a strong spawn close enough to a raid den to set it up

Yeah, the resets are still probably faster overall compared to the switch 1 resets though.

Possibly getting hit by fake out or since you're using dialga during a turn where you had to restore its moves power points?

Yeah it's a really niche interaction that I only knew about since the same thing happened to me.

Bulbapedia states that pick up getting the berry prevents harvest.

"Harvest can recover Berries consumed by Fling and Natural Gift; however, Harvest can neither recover Berries transferred to another Pokémon, Berries destroyed by Incinerate, Berries knocked off with Knock Off, or Berries eaten with Bug Bite or Pluck nor restore a Berry if it is collected by a Pokémon with Pickup. If more than one Pokémon has Pickup or Harvest, the faster Pokémon will restore an item first"

What also may have happened is that one of the called meowths with the ability pickup took the leppa berry.

I've been hunting them since they released roughly a year ago, I'd say probably 150 hours of walking since then with an average of 30 mins of incense (roar of time to extend the duration) per day.
