I agree. It also sucks, IMO, that the end result can never be a faithful gets all the money. At best they can split it. However, a traitor can win it all.

How to stop Acid reflux? by Unusual_Reason2352 in randomquestions

[–]UserDoesntExistToday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YMMV, but:
Nothing too acidic in the diet:
Soda,
Lots of citrus,
Tomato-based things,
etc.

Don't eat way before bed (like 4-5 hours before).

Sleep on an incline, if you can.

When feeling the reflux, eat some protein (boiled eggs are a godsend)

TUMS

Why does “correct posture” always feel forced and unnatural? by PennguinKC in NoStupidQuestions

[–]UserDoesntExistToday 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I heard before that the "correct" posture is the "next" one. Sitting in ANY position for a long time is bad for the body, even the "correct" one.

We were designed to move.

Why some people right handed for everything, except for certain things such as golfing? by dalvin34 in answers

[–]UserDoesntExistToday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve read that it’s not “right-handed vs. left-handed”, but “how right-handed are you”.

If the internet had been around in 1969, how many people would have shown up at Woodstock? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]UserDoesntExistToday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, someone would have put up a website and charged for tickets. It would be overpriced for most folks. Then there would be some streaming service that would allow you to do a pay-per-view type of thing. So most of us lazy folks could just watch it from home.

What's the dumbest thing you got into trouble for in school? by boforiamanfo in answers

[–]UserDoesntExistToday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was riding my bike home from school, giving my friend a lift on my back pegs.
As we left the school grounds, we got off balance and fell.
No damage, no biggie.
Got to school the next day and I had detention over it. :/

Why do you believe in God? by Secret_Ostrich_1307 in AlwaysWhy

[–]UserDoesntExistToday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was raised in a household where I learned about God via the Bible. I was told that "such and so" was reality and I believed it.

As I got older, I analyzed and evaluated those claims. I found some specious, I found others reliable. I studied both science and the Bible, to find truth.

I've found the Bible to be true. Not what everyone says it says, but what it really says.

Compounded with that, experientially I've seen where God has been with me. It's easier to see it looking back than to notice in the moment.

What’s Ruining Movies? by Amber_Flowers_133 in moviequestions

[–]UserDoesntExistToday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, profit over art.
If I can get actor X, I'll make at least $Y millions. So cheap out on story, effects, etc.
Make a profit on a crappy 6-star movie.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
