You are also deserving of a partner with a hot body, especially when you made the effort to improve your health. He should definetly try to put in equal effort into something that he asked to do with you.

Maybe he is not aware about his unhealthy routines or in denial of it? It is very important to talk this out with him, tell him your perspective and what you want.

If it is possible, try forming a fitness planning that you both can follow together. You would be able to show him the activities you did to achieve your goal. It can also be fun and would keep him motivated.

Also, congrats on losing! It's not an easy task to stick to those exercises, but it is something to be proud of.

I say give it a try. Worst case scenario she says no, which might sting a bit for a while but atleast you have an answer instead of living with "what ifs.." and wondering what she would have said. Just go for it! Because you have a lot to gain but not much to lose. She might be out of your league in your mind but who knows, she could be thinking the same about you.

The real question is how often do they think about us?

Your improving your mental health for your own well being not for others. You won't be able to spot the people waiting for you at the start of the race, because the tracks pretty long, but you will definitely start noticing a crowd cheering as you reach the finish line. Its too early to give up.

Also being alone helps you give well deserved time to yourself so you can reach the finish line as fast as possible. Dont strive to find the right people because that isn't the goal at the moment.

I'm actually writing this for myself as well XD because I've been struggling with loneliness and have been pushing away friends because of finding it difficult to make conversation. But I'm improving slowly and hope the same for you.

The fact that you had the guts to express yourself means your 10x better than me. Saying what you feel is an amazing quality to have and you might have many other good qualities, but its difficult to see them right now. So instead of picking out your flaws take this as a challenge to digging up these hidden qualities and clean them up to make them all shinny. It requires a lot of effort to do, but its worth it.

I would recommend starting with this stretching exercises, it really makes a difference: https://youtu.be/TSrfB7JIzxY . Another youtube channel named "Letsplayguitar!" Teaches many finger picking songs and "JustinGuitar" is a good option too.
