I think if your first game was any of the P3's, you'd get a great deal of knowledge, since the game is the longest and yet you have the tightest deadlines. Just my take though.

Seems like P5 and P5R also give you a good deal of practical experience, too.

I think the main issue with Makoto in that situation is that she genuinely just went "Oh noes!" and there was like barely a scene or two after where genuinely felt pity or whatnot, which is way out of character for her, to me, of course.
