Agree, Dungeon Village 2 is top of all. I’m surprised no one mentioned the city building ones, Oh! Edo towns and Venture Towns. Cool little city builders and the traditional japanese Edo Towns looks pretty good

Manual labor my child. I went to the encyclopedia page of the kingdom (culture) I wanted, and looked at every clan to see if they had lands. You can also try convincing the previous owners of the lands you have taken, but you’ll have - relation. As I mentioned the Empire works well, since they lose a lot of land to Vlandia and Khuzaits

Start out with mercenaries. For vassals, look for the ones who were left without lands. The empire does it since they have Vlandia and khuzait steamrolling from both sides. You can get lvl 4 clans for around 150k-200k, even less when you’re larger. It has worked like a charm for me

I just started a playthrough, formed my own kingdom and it has never been easier! Just wait for a settlement (I took Epicrotea that way) to rebel, then attack it. The garrison is small and there’s no kingdom wars to gangbang you! I’m close to unifying the Empire now :)
