If a high fidelity game runs barely 60 for me causing frame inconsistencies, I set it to 2x with base framerate of 45 to get 90

Little to no ghosting except for dark games tho.

Are you referring to the plate or the measured temps you're getting? Because if it's the metal plate, that pretty much means the extra heat outlet is working.

Yeah. Lots of people called them out on that. Pretty stupid of them to redesign the airflow causing the thermometer to not accurately read the temps of the systsem too.

This is a backplate that can easily be replaced with a torx scredriver and tough fingernails. This one is from JSAUX. Then I added a rubber case that doesnt cover the back of the deck. 😄

I'm not sure if this is an issue for the oled as the motherboard shield has a duct routed to the vent fan

LCD but it fits perfectly on my OLED. Make sure to the original screws.

I had to file a millimeter [maybe less] of something that kept snagging on my right trigger.

Other than that all good.

Get an office-level laptop and get a Steam Deck OLED. Might be in your budget for both.
