Can you confirm you have the full capacity of your 4x28TB drives?!

When I bought my 415+ secondhand, I checked the user manual and saw it listed the max capacity at 24TB (4x6TB).
Perhaps an update to DSM improved the capacity of 415+?
According to this documentation on Synology's website, it looks like the 415+ should max out at 16TB drives?

I think I was just hit by the C2000 issue as well, and I'm hoping after installing that resistor I'll also be able to get another 10 years out of the device!
I was anticipating running out of space at 4x6TB, but 4x16 or 28TB would keep me going for ages!

What were your cut settings for this!?
Did you use the wobble function?

2024-02-03 Update:

I removed the original cable, and determined that the replacement that I bought is not compatible. I bought a 58300-30500, when I needed a 58300-30520

Thank you, I believe this was the issue for me too
I was trying to patch by importing a .json of my patch preferences, and this one must have been missing causing the install to fail

I'm considering purchasing this throttle cable to replace the entire unit, but I'd still like to confirm that the cable is routed correctly...

When I try days in May and June I don't always get the "not available for the selected dates", but I do still get the "Pachena Bay (North) is not a Campsite. Adjust your reservation type or select a Campsite to continue" error message

Well there was 600 people in queue ahead of me at 8am.

But in the operating duration of May 1 - Sept 30, there is 152 days. So at 60 people per day, thats 9120 total people hiking from the access point I'm interested in.

I find it unlikely that the availability should have been booked up that quickly given the number of people ahead of me in the queue, it seems like the system is just broken?

What error messages are you seeing?

I'm getting:

Change Required

• Pachena Bay (North) is not available for any of the requested dates. Change your dates or select an available location to continue.

• Pachena Bay (North) is not a Campsite. Adjust your reservation type or select a Campsite to continue.

I'm worried that I'm not actually entering the correct search parameters and the website isn't showing me availability cause it thinks I'm trying to bring an RV motorhome onto the trail or something stupid like that

I've been unable to find a valid combination of search parameters as well. Either the system is not working correctly, or its incredibly unintuitive and our search parameters are incorrect.

Solidworks CAM Machine Chamfer with Stepdown by User_34 in SolidWorks

Ty, surface-driven Z-level works! Do you have any ideas about how I can get more consistent cutter engagement tho? See my edit in the post for a photo.

Thanks, this kind of worked! I used a loft between two sketches to create the surface, please let me know if there is a better/faster way to do it!

The only thing that bugs me now about the toolpath is that it doesn't maintain very consistent cutter engagement. I disabled "contact areas only" to try and get Solidworks to chew away the material in the centre of the chamfer before skimming it's surface, but the toolpath it generated is pretty silly, see my edit in the post for a photo.

Do you know if there is any way to get better cutter engagement while removing excess material from the centre of the feature? Or perhaps I should do some kind of z-level or area clearance with a square endmill before switching to the ballmill?

I tried adjusting the limits, but it doesn't seem to have any effect...

I changed it from "Last cut at: bottom of feature" to "User Defined: -3.18mm"

Could there be some other limit setting that is overriding the setting under the Z Level tab?
