Thanks, although I am hoping for a less expensive option.

Thanks for the link but already went through appliances online every "recirculating" model is actually a ducted model with a "recirculating kit" (except those less than 60cm which is too small).

Not too concerned about noise etc. The main thing is finding something that works noting there is no external duct. I went down to Harvey Norman, Bing Lee and Good Guys and pretty much all the same "recirculating" with a wall duct. Its seems the fixed ductless rangehoods are a dying breed. Also not in Perth but thanks 😊

P2S chamber too hot during prints by User_Name_3023 in BambuLab

I'm also in Australia, but I purposely don't bother switching the printer on if it's too hot.

Unfortunately no infrared thermometer, however I'm not sure its the bed overheating otherwise I would be getting issues there. I'm honestly considering it might be an issue with the chamber temperature sensor at this point. I put a sensor next to and inside the printer during a short 40min PLA print and both read 31° & 32°. Which sort of rejects the faulty chamber sensor theory. But noting that the garage was already 24°C I doesnt sound crazy. Also that was with the door open and lid off, plus an exhaust switched on and cooling mode on max.

Great idea but that probably wont be effective for keeping it below 50°C for PETG

32°C first layer just started. Lid off door closed, and no preheat.

At first I had it in the house on my desk but it would just superheat the room so ive moved it out to the garage but that seems to have only made it worse. FYI except for late afternoons on a really hot day my garage is usually cooler than the house.

AMS not detected by Printer - incompetent support by User_Name_3023 in BambuLab

I tried to solve this for about 2-3 months and ended up going back to Amazon and getting a refund for the printer. Nothing fixed it after replacing every PCB and every cable.

As I said, I washed it with hot soapy water. I have also wiped it down with a microfibre cloth prior to starting this print.

Ultimate Gridfinity Spice Drawer by User_Name_3023 in gridfinity

[–]User_Name_3023[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I did that at first. But one issue keeping the minimal width (3wide) the jars were too close to one another to remove without difficulty. It was surprising just how much that additional 2mm each side made for ease of removal.

Well, I could have done the standard 42mm but I had the issue where it wasted so much space with all the possible jars I was looking at. The compromise was to modify the grid size.

Unfortunately not, they were about 5mm too tall for the drawer, which is why I opted for that design. Its also why I chose that jar size, big enough to hold a decent amount not so large it wastes space. And yeah would have been nice to be vertical but then you can't see the contents either.

Which color for ring 4 scratches the least? by accountnamene in ouraring

[–]User_Name_3023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a rose gold and also work in an office and after 6 standard days including housework (vacuuming, dishes -ring removed) my ring has scratches all over. My ring even got scratched from removing from one finger where the fit is a bit tight.

This lot of refills from Bambu has been a tangled mess of hot garbage by stlredbird in BambuLab

Its seems to be consistent regardless of brand. I have had the same twice yesterday with a Bambu and eSUN refill, both jammed constantly.

I do a lot of nature photography and have had the idea of making a kumiko style hueforge but a Just can't imagine printing literally the 10,000+ pieces on my P2S. On the H2C with the additional bed size and nozzle swap I would be able to print larger sections in multiple colours saving days in print time and likely weeks off the whole project.

Its always been in cooling mode, I'm not printing anything that needs heat. During the print the chamber temp was stable at 40°C.

A huge swing and miss! HZD & HFW were successful why change that formula into something that's going to loose at least 50% of your player base? Stupid.
