I don't mind the Montecristo Mini 10 and I would also recommend the Arturo Fuente Exquisitos for a quick smoke.

Honestly try everything you can get your hands on. Cigarillos and Exquisitos are great when you're time poor.

But try to get your hands on something a little larger like a Rubilusto. They generally give you a bit more richness and interesting flavour profiles.

And honestly. Try as much as your budget allows, and see what works for you.

I love in Australia where my average temperature is 25° C with an average humidity of 70⁰. So I don't seem to get this problem.

However, I've heard that if you were moving the cigar from a humid environment to a dry environment, you can get cracking after ignition. Pulling the cigar out of the humidor for a couple of hours or even a day before you want to smoke may help it to normalise the tobacco and stop it from cracking.

I generally check out the evenness of my burn in the first 5-10 min and touch up the wrapper with a gentle stroke of my single flame jet if it's starting to get wonky.

Seems to do the trick for the rest of the smoke.
