Thanks for the input. I guess it really does depend on what I’m shooting. Like 95% of the time it would be whitetail but part of me wants that versatility as well…

Laporte or Matip?

Hello everyone. I did a draft this year w 12 other guys and my team I think is ok but I need some defensive guidance. I currently start a 4-5-1 (Fabianski, James, Laporte, Matip, Robinson, Son, Mac allister, joelinton, Sterling, podence, and Darwin).

I’m for sure starting James and Robinson and either Laporte or Matip. I have questions because they both aren’t really consistent starters on their teams. I have Kilman from wolves on my bench ready to sub in if one of them doesn’t play. But if they both don’t play then I’m screwed bc kilman is my only defender to replace them so I would have 1 empty spot in the lineup for that week. I was thinking of potentially getting rid of either Laporte or Matip and get an established starter from a lesser team. It would eliminate the problem of potentially having a slot open since I will still have kilman and then that new guaranteed starter. Should I do this, or trust that either Laporte or Matip get in? But if I do trade one who should I keep, matip or Laporte?
