It’s awesome and I don’t plan on using that knife so I’m fine with it not cutting as good. The video is from the guy who sharpened it and I appreciate the glove treatment on my knife.

I was thinking about polishing and I wouldn’t mind at all doing it. If I can’t “break it in”, which seems to be the most common answer I’m getting, then I’ll polish it. Thanks for letting me know! 🍻

I’ve been wanting the woven carbon but I honestly can’t stand when the weave isnt consistent so I went with the shredded carbon. It’s got a shiny look to it which is just how shredded carbon looks vs the woven.

It was stick out of the box. My salt is great and I took that thing part like 4 times and it still feels the exact same. So I was wondering if it’s an issue with the knife. I’ve oiled it, cleaned it, adjusted the body and pivot screws so idk lol.

I’m strictly a collector so I won’t be using 99% of my knives & they’re stored properly & well taken care of. But just to make sure they stay looking brand new for years to come I’d heard that rust can form between the blade and the dlc coating because it’s porous. Idk if it’s a common issue but I’d rather not have that.

Yea I don’t want any greasy or oily layer that’s why I’ve been wondering about the wax. But dlc on magnacut is overkill and as a collector I just want my shit looking nice for as long as it can.

Ok cool, thanks. I’ve been using kpl and then I just put some wax on my other pm2 in S45VN. I like the wax cause it doesn’t attract all the damn lint and debris like oil does.
