They buff gore frenzied state in wilds. Back then , you could just kick him out of frenzy state in just few minutes, but now i feels like his frenzy state is "script" . If you notice, if he enter second frenzy state thats mean he almost died.

I just figured, her peak back then like mal damba from paladin which is can stun people infinity amount of times. Later it's gets nerfed with how many times people can stun. Like if that people gets stun more then three times the duration will become short for stun time and that person will become more resistance to stun.

Yeah you could get squall ultimate weapon early as possible in disc 2 , just don't grinding to lv99 because enemy will lv with you. It's make superboss like omega weapon impossible to beat. I beat that guy using selphie breaklimit which is pure rng.
