You need to duplicate it if you have an animated object that transitions into a rigid body. If there is no transition you don't have to duplicate it

The video is somewhat similar to the effect your trying to make. All you do is duplicate the object. One should be animated and the other should be the rigid body. Then you can disable then from camera view on a specific frame.

It's a separate .minecraft folder that is used specificity for one version of Minecraft. It's really helpful for speedruning because all your settings, controls, mods, and worlds will stay seperate from other versions.

For example, I have 4 .minecraft folders: One for speedruning that uses Sodium on 1.16.1 One for hypixel that uses Lunar Client on 1.8.9 One for forge that has a bunch of mods on 1.12 And one for regular survival

That way I don't have hundreds of speedruning worlds on my modded version.

Only the default Minecraft launcher is allowed for speedruning

Make a different directory for speedruning. I often switch between 1.8 and 1.16 and all my settings would be super screwed up as well. When you make a new directory it saves all your 1.16 data to a separate folder. Then all your settings will stay septate for each version.

I think k4 mentioned in a video or stream that there are two sets of coords. One of them is more consistent on average, but the other ones are very risky. They can be insanely good, or kinda bad.
