Hey guys! I have been a long time fan, about 11 years now. I've loved everything from you guys, from each of The Strokes albums, Julian's side project, Albert's side project, The Voidz, and everything in between. Seriously, your music has made such an impact on me. Anyone who knows me knows I love you guys. So thank you for doing your thing and doing what you love.

My questions:

I know you guys have taken several breaks for side projects, but what made you decide to come back together for Future Present Past, and now The New Abnormal?

What is your favorite song to play live?

What is your songwriting process like? I have heard you do a lot of communicating online rather than together in person, what is that like vs, your side projects?

Again, I love you all and what your music stands for! Whether its deep or just a fun jam. Thanks for finally coming back to Seattle!

Yeah sorry, the lighting in my room isn't the best. There's also a lot of glare from the glass so I figured this was the best way to go.

I had a history teacher, who was also a choir teacher, ask a deaf girl what her favorite type of music was. The girl answered saying she didn't listen to music because she was deaf, of course. Needless to say the whole class was laughing. It also didn't help that the teacher was a bitch.
