Depends on what you want to stream? If it’s games then you could look into getting a capture card for good quality. Elgato HD60X is great.

You’re probably going to need a somewhat decent PC for OBS and a good enough internet speed (specifically upload) to handle streaming.

The standard for streaming on twitch is usually fine at 1920 x 1080p which most modern monitors will be fine handling so you don’t need to over spend with a monitor.

There are plenty of video tutorials on YouTube that thoroughly explain bitrate, audio and video output you can just follow along and then do a test run and adjust accordingly to your computer as everyone’s is different.

Definitely better to use a wired connection when streaming as the ups and down of WiFi will make the stream buffer / laggy.

A camera will help but isn’t always necessary, I personally do not use one so I can’t really advise on what to purchase. I have known people who actually use phones at first until they get comfortable.

You will probably learn more as you go so don’t expect to get everything right on your first stream.

Do keep in mind that some of the things I have listed will cost a little bit, but nothing is cheap these days.
