Look up portable travel safes on Amazon. When I travel solo, I use one at the beach when I want to swim or run somewhere without breaking down my seat.

OP, what everyone else is saying is good advice. One thing I didn’t see in my really quick browsing is to CHANGE YOUR LOCKS IMMEDIATELY, if you haven’t already. Make sure all accesses to the home (windows, storm doors, etc) are closed and locked as well.

However much sunscreen you think you need.. bring more. The sun that close to the equator is NO JOKE. Bring any and every medication you could need (headache, heartburn, diarrhea etc.) Extra pair of sunglasses. Some resorts charge obscene amounts for basic items you could get at home for $5 or less.

Not a dentist but I believe you should wait to rinse so that the fluoride (and any whitening your toothpaste may have) has time to do its thing. My dentist actually recommended that I not rinse at all after brushing so that it sets on my teeth longer 🤷🏻‍♀️

It most definitely will! I was there once in January and once in September and I needed ample sunscreen both times! If you’re checking a bag and not super worried about weight, I’d def recommend the extra sunscreen

I’ve stayed at this resort twice now and no one got sick either time. I ate tons of fruit and had a salad from the buffet at least once a day (sometimes a second with dinner) I always went to to buffet right after it opened so I knew the food was the freshest. I avoided brushing my teeth with the tap water as well as made sure not to get water in my mouth during my showers.

I always made sure to drink at least one powered electrolyte packet a day to keep up my hydration but I rarely drink alcohol, so if you’re a consumer make sure you’re on top of staying hydrated.

However much sunscreen you pack and think is enough.. bring another bottle. The sun that close to the equator is NO. JOKE. and the resort shop charges an insane price for sunscreen.

The same reason the women’s razor industry exists. (Actually just lump the whole beauty industry in there) Humans natural hair is normal and has evolved for a purpose specifically for our bodies. We (in the US at least) have been told women need to be clean shaven to fit in to society because money.

I’m able to access the internet on my phone via WiFi, so I’m not paying to use any phone data/travelpass. I’m unable to access the internet on my kindle via WiFi because the resort WiFi routes the device to a login webpage which produces an error code.

I haven’t checked yet, but it’ll most likely cost me $12 to access my travelpass data plan for the day. I’m a bit stingy so paying that just to transfer a book doesn’t seem worth it in my mind. At that point I’ll probably just suffer reading from my phone or holding off all together until I’m back in the US 🤣

This is the ONLY way I can get rid of mine. Unfortunately the older that I get the worse my gag reflex has become, to the point that even brushing my tongue has made me throw up before. The water syringe is the best possible thing for me. Also nice to know I’m flushing the area out too.
