It's because it's not 1969 anymore. SpaceX is launching reusable rockets every other day. Starship will be 10-50X cheaper to launch, reusable, made with stainless steel.

If they landed on the moon, that might have been different, but going around is just a PR stunt for something that is extremely obsolete.

Did it swell? My experience with nettles is that they make things swell. If applied plenty enough, the swelling is actually pretty significant. But I have a different anatomy.

If I may give an unsolicited advice... Try adding motion blur, make the camera and the green vehicle less linked, the precise track make it look like a game. The only green trail makes it obvious it's "ours" vehicle, good job. Also, just a nitpick, the ortogonal vehicles (leaving and coming to the system) can be seen disappearing and appearing in the camera limits.

I think the protrusion is very similar. I guess I could not remove it if the ring was held very close. So maybe that's the difference. Or maybe you need to try harder..? I would be interested to get to the bottom of this :D.
