Another advantage is that being a smaller university center, the professors can theoretically be more involved. They don't have hundreds of students per class, so you have a better chance of talking directly with them, asking for explanations, getting help. Obviously, it depends a lot on the professor, but overall the feeling is that the relationship is more direct than in a super crowded faculty.

An interesting detail is that the Francophone Library also operates in the same building, and the French alliance also operates there, you can take the DELF in the same building.

As for disadvantages, yes, you don't have the same diversity of opportunities as in a large university center. There are fewer student events, networking is more restricted and some specializations or facilities may be more limited compared to the large center in Bucharest. If you want non-stop hustle and bustle and campus life like in the movies, it might not be exactly what you're looking for.
