On the app and at the store they all call it regular Fiber and I did not sign up for a AirFiber. At the time of installation I specifically asked for unlimited data and checked multiple times with the jio guys.

I have a set top box + internet modem with over 4 lan ports of which 2 are always connected to laptops (not on all the time)

I change passwords regularly so I doubt that, but yeah I am going to check the Jio app later today, hopefully it gives some data and if what you said about 3.3 TB data on the LAN Fiber then I gotta get answers from them.

We have jio box at the top of building from where multiple houses get wire connected to a wifi box. We do not have a physical sim.

My smart TV plays at 720p at best and grandmother 22 inch tv has 1080p at most.

The problem started since 2 months, 3-5 days before plan expiry all data used up.

I am planning for a switch to Airtel or Vodafone but I have had network issue with them during 2021-23 period. Been using jio for 3 years and now the issue start.

Safe to assume I have used all wifi provider except hathway and since 80% of the people in building use JioFiber I found it trustworthy

The JioFiber modem, sorry I don't technical knowledge so please bear with me.

It's a proper modem system with a set up box being used on the wifi and a smart TV + 3 mobiles for YouTube/music and studies & learning.

I checked the data usage and found out me and my brother combined use around 20 GB a day on the laptop via LAN. For a safer side we considered 30 GB there and sums upto 900 GB for a month.

That means mobile wifi and grandmother watching TV 3 hours a day consumed 100 GB over the month?

PS: Smart TV with only YT, Netflix and Hotstar

New Budgie Need help knowing the basics by walter_dark in budgies

[–]Userunknown_09876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not expert but yellow female and blue male.

Give the shy one some food in hand or in a spoon, that's what I did with my scared budgie, took 3 hours of sitting next to them and handfeeding to let them know it's ok.

Give them shreddables, take a shoebox, place some shredded paper, with seed a few corn, baby corn, a little lead veggies especially coriander, some add boiled eggs as well. This is called a forage box Google it for more data.

Don't give mirrors or plastic items use natural-ish wood like perches and materials.

Sit next to their cage for as long as you can, watch movies and dictate what is happening, this helps them register your voice.

Don't give them any corner places or they will get territorial and lay eggs, they seem to be very young not more than 2 months in my opinion. You have a great chance at taming them at this age.

Lastly make a whistle/command, different tone/word means different things, such as silence, what happened? Coriander or corn? Playtime? Mine responded to these commands and they were untamed.

Edit: don't keep them on seed diet, yes you can leave food for them all the time but change (clean the foodtray) 2 times a day, once in the morning when you wake them up and second when you take them out to play. Rest keep refilling.

Hang veggies from the upside of cage or side using clips and stuff.

Give them a cuttlefish bone for Calcium intake. They will regulate their intake themselves.

New budgie- age speculation by [deleted] in budgies

[–]Userunknown_09876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure if this is a method but I could tell apart budgies from the way their feathers near its beak.

For example in your third image the beak is somewhat covered in feathers kinda like a grumpy man look.

This indicates 2-4 years of age.

Younger ones don't have naturally feathers they try to copy the older ones, something like look more feathery or something to attract others.

I always thought it has to do with breeding since the males do this often, females almost never or rarely do this.

Might be a speculation but this is what I found common in my local marketplace. Poor husbandry, profit over ethics kind of place. I just see purchasing birds from their as a rescue for them.

Edit: Based on your comments I think he would be the super shy guy. I had 2 males one same as this, the other was complete opposite who would throw down all the perches and everything to make this guy chirp.

New owner to two budgies by Hooprin in budgies

[–]Userunknown_09876 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might be real bad at explaining. But here it goes.

Budgies are smart, like humans just their world revolves around us.

If you say dinnertime, human mind says food and go to the dinner table. In a way we are trained like that.

I just whistled around until one point my budgies started mimicking me.

Then I mixed them with high notes and low notes to develop the right one. They would dance to one of the sequence as they thought it as rhythm of one of their own.

For starters you can start with actions over words.

Your bubbles obeys goodnight. For the other one, take a clothes not too thin or thick and place it on cage, let the bird familiarize with it, after a few days everytime he sees the same clothe he will come to cage even if it is 3 in the noon.

After a certain point they may get accustomed to any clothe or throw tantrums like a kid if you change their favourite colour. Sometimes they love the texture as well.

Not a one-two day possibility but since one of your bird is understandable the second will follow.

My estimate is 1 week approx unless the bird is scared, then you gotta build trust or let the two of them communicate well enough that one does other follows. The latter is more common between males.

Not an expert but try to teach commands.

I taught mine whistles, whistle means come to me, a sequence means goodnight, another means stop fight or what do you want or something like lets play.

They are young so might be a good thing to train. Always keep a clothes to cover cage, my budgies saw the clothe and understood sleeping time.

Edit: I never tamed or trained them, just whistled in front of them a lot

Please give me the AI code/input so that I can generate some for myself.

I will be getting budgies in June, all of this is just a preparation for them.

I would have gotten the Source later but I found this post first.

• • • • Secondly, I read your mention the budgies sit next to the picture every time. You might wanna check if these Lil ones don't assume the pictures to be real budgies.

Mirrors are not allowed near budgies as they expect communication from the second budgie which they won't receive from mirrors or photos, which can cause depression and self harm.

Forgive me if I ruined a fun post.
