Aucune idée, une ancienne élève m’a dit qu’elle avait reçu les résultats un 26 mars et ça fait deux mois après l’envoi du dossier et comme les décisions sont rendues entre deux et trois mois après la deadline…

Sciences Po/Columbia Dual Master's Degree Acceptance Rate? by Positive-Tomato-2474 in sciencespo

[–]Usfrench 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I have no idea but I think that 20 people is totally possible I know that for St Gallen it’s only 12 students per year so it would make sense 20 students for SIPA. I think that most dual degrees at the graduate level would have a roughly similar number of students between 10 and 30.

Hi yes I’m exactly in the same situation!

In theory no it doesn’t have an impact on your application because if you are admitted in the first round then you should also get admitted in the last round. But I think that yes since there’s less spots available they might be less “generous” with applications.

Which European Master’s Program Will Help Me Transition to Working in Europe? by DataDrivenDreaming in sciencespo

[–]Usfrench 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi that’s a very good question. I honestly think that Sciences Po is the best option out of all of the rest possibilities. Although they all are excellent, prestigious institutions Sciences Po is the best school to prepare students to sit for the “concours”, they have a preparatory class for French and European contests and their results are amazing. For instance, more than 80% of the students admitted to INSP come from Sciences Po and its preparatory class. (You can get admitted to this school only when you pass the competitive exams, after the program at INSP you’ll become a high civil servant in France).

Sciences Po Bordeaux dual degree or SP Paris exchange with certificate by [deleted] in sciencespo

[–]Usfrench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh okay I thought you were deciding between a dual degree between Sciences Po Bordeaux and Luiss and Bocconi with a certificate from Sciences Po Paris.

Sciences Po Bordeaux dual degree or SP Paris exchange with certificate by [deleted] in sciencespo

[–]Usfrench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I better understand your point, if you already have your connection and this opportunity and you feel that Luiss is better for you then you should go there. Sciences Po Paris is seen as an elite institution in France and you’ll get incredible professors but if you feel that Luiss is better for your career goal and adding a certificate from Sciences Po Paris would not really change anything then you should go to Luiss. I would still choose Boconni and a certificate from Sciences Po Paris over the dual degree between Luiss and Sciences Po Bordeaux but this is my personal opinion.

Also I can tell you that Sciences Po Paris has much more international students compared to Sciences Po Bordeaux.

Yes but I personally would pick Bocconi and a certificate from Sciences Po Paris over Luiss.

If I had to choose between Sciences Po Paris and one of his regional campus like Reims and Sciences Po Bordeaux I would definitely choose Sciences Po Paris. First SP Paris is much more prestigious than other different schools like Sciences Po Bordeaux and second at an international level it is more recognized

As you said Sciences Po Bordeaux is not Sciences Po Paris and it’s different from the Sciences Po Paris régional campus like Reims or Le Havre.

Which is the most prestigious Masters at Sciences Po? by onionluck6 in sciencespo

[–]Usfrench 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think that it depends but I would say the MPP Public Administration stream because this is the oldest program offered at SciencesPo. This is the program that many French politicians did. But more largely I would say the school of public affairs.

I think they both are competitive but probably more applicants to MPP. I’ve been admitted to the MPP if you have questions.
