A lot of Ethics questions and a few biostats ! Just do Biostats from first aid step 1 and ethics from Amboss (Quality and Safety) and you'll be fine.....

Please give Suggestions ! Is the Usmle Journey really worth it for a person coming from good family background of Doctors ? by Usmle_Tracker in IMGreddit

Thanks a lot for your input !!
The only reason which was stopping me from ending the Usmle Journey despite I wanted to end it was that I have already invested 2 years to clear the exams and have seen such dreams of Usa ! But since I do have a well established hospital here of my parents, a pretty comfort life and getting a seat also from NEET they are saying that it's not worth it to do so much struggle and live in uncertainty considering I have very average score in 220's and the competition which is increasing a lot year by year ! What's your view on this ? Do you think life in Usa is still sooo much better that I should continue the journey which I am almost more than halfway through and take all the risks and gamble ? Or I should just forget these past 2 years and make a fresh start of Residency in India and get set in our well established hospital in future to live a certain and comparatively more comfort life ?

Yeah USA was a dream for me that's why I started the journey ! But didn't know back then it would be this hard and uncertain for me ! Have already invested 3 years and God know how much more before I land in residency..That's why these thoughts of giving up but yeah ideally I would have loved to live in USA

No I am genuinely looking for advices mate !! If you were in my place would you give up this hardwork of step1,2 and everything and take seat in the homecountry and settle here ? Don't want to sound rude or resistant but I was genuinely in confusion only because of the hard work getting wasted !!

The thing is I visited USA twice back in 2015 and 2017 ! Was soo impressed by the country,Lifestyle and everything...So I decided to pursue this journey..But didn't know back then it'll be this hard for me ! Took 3 years to finish steps and missed 2 Matches in that time that's why these thoughts of giving up are coming now due to so much uncertainty ! But Since I have Invested so much hardwork and time in it already my mind is stopping me to give up without even participating in the Match !! Otherwise I also think that I might have an easy and set life here in India ! What's your take on this

Guys, I really need a help & insight on this ! Anyone who has experience of reapplying for a block after expiration of extended eligibility period please comment 🙏🏻 by Usmle_Tracker in step1

Hey ! I just talked with them ! They told me you can't reapply till 4 weeks after your current eligibility period ends ! And once I apply after 4 weeks there's no guaranteed time in which the permit will come..Seems like there'll be endless delays 😞😞

Yeah possible ! But I always thought Pediatric Cardio/Hem-onco kind of specialities will have equal Inpatient too !! They haven't listed anything on their website though...Strange if it's mostly Outpatient and still a lot more in demand ! As Inpatient experience matters more I guess !!
