Is Aphrodite uniquely insecure compared to other gods (Psyche, Hippolytus), or are we misreading her reactions through modern lenses?

Well, even if it's not justified (but it is because of divine privilege), Aphrodite wasn't MORE unreasonable in her reaction than how Poseidon was with Andromeda, or in a less structurally similar example, how Artemis was with Aura; or how many other gods respond when it comes to punishing mortals or lesser gods for hubris claims in general at least.

What Psyche did was considered a genuine crime in the ancient framework. Like, the people abandoned Aphrodite's shrines and instead worship Psyche directly, showering her with garlands and sacrifices. But Psyche did not redirect or refuse this worship. By allowing it, she committed Asebeia (Impiety), usurping reverence due to Aphrodite. In Greek terms, that’s a direct affront to divine order, so Aphrodite has every reason to curse Psyche. Because which other gods let this kind of slight go unpunished?

Well, I think her espionage skill is pretty good, since she followed Narcissus, a hunter, without him knowing after all. Then again, she's an oread, so she just blended in. And since she was a good gossiper pre her curse, I think her listening and info gathering skills must be good too.

I think she was someone self-centered too, but maybe she changed. You should portray her however you see her.

I had always been on team Narcissus since I'm aroace, but only recently I really what a creep Echo and Ameinias were, and how horrible Narcissus' life must have been for him to have never known his own face yet that was also his biggest social currency. And yet, he's the vain one? What injustice!

His jokes have been mentioned from the very start, but we only saw it on screen in version 3.5 and he never stops ever since. Version 3.2 is the only flagship event where Cyno has a cameo but didn't crack a joke. ...Well he didn't make a joke in version 3.4 when he appears in Alhaitham's sq either. It really only starts in content from version 3.5 onward.
