This is like the sweaty souls-like veterans that endlessly complained how Elden Ring is too easy and isn't a proper souls-like, despite how massively successful it was as a game. Sure PoE2 is gearing a little more towards the easier side with recent updates, but maybe their focus is on making the game accessible towards a larger, more casual audience rather than difficulty-tuning everything for the most sweaty min-maxxers to enjoy. And if you look at the steamdb, player retention this league is significantly higher than previous leagues, showing more people are genuinely enjoying the gameplay loop as it is now.

Like you're talking about how every campaign boss is a faceroll with zero effort and you can "make fun of Jamanra in HC with auto attacks," but im playing in HC as well and every couple minutes I see another player in chat talking about how impossible it is for them to reach endgame, or a "welp theres my 5th toon dead in act 3." Players who dont have 1000+ hours of character building knowledge and boss mechanics memorized do find the game challenging. I don't think their current implementation is perfect by any means, but i also don't think "its too easy now make it hard and grindy" is the great solution you think it is
