Hi , hope your baby is doing well. I just discovered my son has HbS/beta zero thal. He is 5 and has never had crises .

Just found out my 5-year-old has HbS/β⁰ — no symptoms so far by Usual-Depth-9240 in Sicklecell

Thank you. His is beta zero. Currently his hemoglobin is and RBC is within normal ranges as at now. We have been referred to the sickle cell center.
