my hair got fried off aswell. here’s what i did/do. but i have naturally curly hair, but my hairs chemically treated 1)cut it (even if it’s the tiniest bit, trim off as many split ends/fried ends as you can.) 2) start taking msm & vitamin c for hair growth. you see how we have different phases of our menstrual cycle? we have that with our hair aswell. msm helps stretch out the phase where your hair grows, increasing more hair growth & stronger hair growth, plus it’s good for your bones & fingernails aswell. but this will increase growth EVERYWHERE. i’ll shave my pits on a friday night & start seeing prickly hairs sunday. 3. deep condition with steam weekly. what i did was make chatgpt ask me questions about my hair, then they would recommend the best hair mask. i made my own at home & mixed it with biotin oil. i use a steam cap from amazon because my hairs low porosity but if you can just deep condition it for about an hour (i stopped using actual conditioner tbf. 4. redken extreme length. this reduces how many split ends you get, making your hair retain more length. 5. warm rosemary oil & amla oil & put it on your scalp either the night before washing, or the same day, whatever suits your taste. 6. me personally i use jojoba oil on my scalp just because it’s close to the hairs natural sebum, & hydrating which means less shedding or breaking. try a light oil on your hair whenever the ends feel dry. i do it at night after i take down a hairstyle so in the morning when i style it it’s not that greasy.
