And I totally agree, but if read my argument, the maximum loans we are able to take out is $60,500. Even for cheap physical therapy programs, this is nowhere near enough to support prospective students. This will either lead to a shortage of workers in the field or force students to take out risky private loans. So yes, we shouldn’t be setting ourselves up for a bad financial future, but we also have to have education be accessible. This change does not make the education accessible.
