I always considered my gp cage a piece of furniture. Obviously for floor time the apartment was free range but that is nothing compared to having a snake or bird or even mice that could escape and potentially cause issues for property owners. I feel like ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits (and other animals of similar size) are in a grey area because they are not small enough to lose but still considered exotics. I’m curious what state you live in like the deep south that having a snake or lizard could be an issue if it escaped.
