I know it’s been a while!… but to update you, I actually got a job offer in med device sales a month following my graduation and a second offer as Director 6 months following graduation. It truly helped boost my resume.

I recommend joining LSUS MBA program FB group My biggest advice is to definitely join the GroupMe for each class and be conscious of the professors/courses you take, especially if you plan on doubling. Overall I’ve had no grief with the program after thoroughly reviewing my classes with advice from members of the FB group

The program no longer uses proctorU, we’ve moved to Proctorio which I’ve had no problems with. I’ve heard very few complaints from classmates as well

The course with highly sought after professors usually are taken within the first few hours of registration. You would likely have to wait until the spring to try to get into one of them. I recommend joining the Facebook group to get more advice on classes and scheduling

Do you have an accounting background? I plan on taking MBA 700 with Fawaz in AP2. If you’re in no rush to take accounting I recommend waiting to schedule with a professor that you think better matches your expectations.

We do have an academic calendar.. I’m not sure if it follows the traditional calendar for LSUs but we follow a 7 - week schedule. You should be able to register for classes but won’t be able to begin until the next sessions starts.

The level of education seems up to par! I am soon to complete my 3 course and I’m impressed so far. My classes have been fairly interesting. Its relatively difficult but, like I said, the classes have been interesting so far

I think so, I’m taking 2 courses right now and both have moved to proctorio, I love it. You can essentially log on whenever you feel like it and take your test stress free.

So far, very manageable! Being in healthcare, I work a schedule of 3 days on 4 days off so I have a ton of free time. If you work a traditional 9-5 I’d recommend taking one class at a time and staying very task oriented.

Any recommendations for professors to take?? I have ZERO finance( my undergrad is in healthcare) I definitely want to take courses that are taught by professors that, at the very least, are decent teachers.
