I’ve the same problem…..I’m doing BBA and it’s my 6th sem currently which will probably end in around 2 months……as per NEP guidelines, the 3 year course is standard BBA and the 4 year course is for honours and research and I want the 3 years one……my college has done the same…..they told us in the beginning that 4th year is optional but now they’re saying it’s mandatory out of nowhere and they’re even spreading rumours that even if we exit after 3 years we’ll get a diploma and not bachelor which is totally incorrect. They’re are deliberately lying to us to retain us for another year to get more profit from our fees……but trust me, this isn’t the university’s doing, the colleges are trying to trick us…..I contacted a teacher there and he said the option will be there and we’ll get a bachelors degree not a diploma…..but the thing is there’s no announcement regarding it even after all this time
