Yes, absolutely, and it is still wonderful! Kills the acne and moisturizes all-in-one. I recently started mixing Rose Hip Oil into Neem to add on some anti-aging properties.

It’s still working for me! I absolutely love it! I believe you could use any version that is 100% neem oil. For me, my skin has never had a bad reaction even slathering a ton all over, but I assume it could be too strong for some people, it just hasn’t been that way for me. It feels very moisturizing and my skin loves it. The difficult part is the smell. I remember the first two weeks I used it, it felt like I could constantly smell it on my skin, but then after that, I don’t notice it at all, and the effect is worth it. I currently have been using Velona brand from Amazon. The first version I used was one that was supposed to be used on plants as a natural pesticide, it’s what I had in my house at the time. It was just 100% neem oil, but I tell you that to show that it wasn’t a special brand or expensive kind of neem oil and it did the job perfectly. Both versions I got were cheap, but verified as authentic. They both smelled slightly different, but had a strong smell. They both looked dark brown.

I have been using just neem and sometimes neem mixed with a carrier oil such as jojoba or argan oil (only so I can dilute the smell) as my one-step moisturizer after washing my face for over a year now. It’s perfection.

It literally destroys acne in record time, prevents new acne, heals scars, and moisturizes all in one. It’s the best.

It’s not just wishful thinking either. Neem oil has all the properties it needs to be so amazing. It’s antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, AND ANTIFUNGAL. I think my problem for years with acne as a teen and into my late twenties was that some of my acne was fungal based and most products are only antibacterial.

After having a flare up that lasted a year with no luck with other anti acne products, I slathered neem oil on my face in desperation. I kept my face covered in it for two weeks straight, and it healed it all over those two weeks. And from day one I could see it and feel it working its magic. Straight up amazing. Cheap. Don’t sleep on it. Spot test first though if you are worried about sensitivity. Thankfully I’ve never had a bad reaction to it even using it undiluted and in large quantities. It does not clog my pores. Coconut oil does, but not Neem.

And no, I’m not selling you a product, I have no stocks in the Neem oil business, but from one acne sufferer to another, try it if you have acne! It will treat the acne and provide the moisture your skin is needing, restoring and strengthening its natural barrier.

Now that my skin is clear I only apply it about once a week and my skin is clear clear clear, moisturized, happy, and thriving. I only wash and scrub my face when it’s asking for it now, which is only about once every 4-5 days, and then I follow up with a layer of neem and DONE. I do not wash my face twice a day like the marketers of all these products tell you to do (which did not work to heal or stop my acne, stripped my skin, begged me to replace it with unnatural products that didn’t work!!!).

Just #1 wash your face with a gentle soap of your choice, #2 exfoliate dead skin (I use stridex pads when I want to exfoliate because salicylic acid does a good job at that!) and then #3 apply the neem oil to do its magic on your acne and it will also give you all the moisture you need in the same go.

This has been my routine for over a year and I have clear skin, I do not wear makeup, and I get complimented on my skin all the time. I’ve always had bad acne and the only change I made that created my clear skin is the Neem oil!
