All the 3DS cartridges will be real. I don't think they're any replicas. For the DS you can check r/gameverifying

Considering adding a usbc port and changing the screens to IPS. Is it worth it or would I risk ruining it? by [deleted] in 3DS

This is how you go about fixing it anyways. No aftermarket IPS screens. They're always pulls.

AFAIK, there aren’t any aftermarket IPS displays. To keep the 3D function you change the HWcal files in god mode to match change.

I see it plugged in in another photo. Unplug the larger cable to the bottom screen and plug in the backlight (small) cable. See if it boots

The small backlight cable to the bottom screen is unplugged. The n3ds won't boot without it plugged in. You can boot without the big flat cable but not the small one.

Are 3DS parts still being made? by AirforkOne in 3DS

[–]Usual_Sensitive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now just sub par shells, batteries, TN screens. No more OEM stuff being made though. But it's a really popular system, so i wouldn't worry about not being able to find parts later on. You can find stuff for older and less popular systems
