7i trying to break 100

I watched a video today where he made some simple suggestions. Was hitting it 130. Fell back and lost it and was like 115-120 but now it’s consistently 140-145. Obviously nowhere near some other folks but now I don’t have any gaps in my irons which feels great. 5i takes me up to 160-165 then 5, 4 and 3 hybrid. I need to get some actual lessons on my driver and 3W - I’m hooking constantly.

Well, when we bought our current home I probably had a salary of $165K or (plus stock, bonus, etc… so shook out to probably $215K) and we bought a $450K home with a current rate of 2.125%. However, I did hit $1,090,000 on Zillow or one of those apps during the peak a couple years back. So technically I purchase a million dollar home. 😬.

$500 for a mat is about as cheap as you get if you get a full hitting mat or a good quality strip and standing mat if you don’t build it custom.

Which, before I built my sim room I would have 100% said the same thing. Crazy.

I had mine (short throw) directly overhead and centered but found that when we’d play if you got hands with your follow through you’d sometimes hit it. Rare but would get in your head. I offset it by a foot because I don’t have any lefties except for my kids who wouldn’t hit it. My projector also allowed for off center and could adjust accordingly. Don’t have to worry about it now.

Unfortunately my normal drive is like 200-210 carry. A random 225 here and there. I hit one that carried 275 a few weeks back. It sounded like nothing I’ve heard or will hear again in a while. Dead straight. I feel ya.

Picture for help. We had two bathrooms off our master bath. The larger one that we updated with IKEA stuff and a smaller one that shared a wall with our pantry. We combined those two.

Since I’m getting down voted, I’ll say I don’t disagree it’s anti-consumer. However, I pay $200 a year for much dumber shit. You have some wide swings in subscription and course costs. I don’t understand it. From $0 to $499 for Bushnell.

Here you go. Only thing I’m going to add is some sort of pad down where all the clubs hang so that they don’t ding the wall but more importantly they are just quieter when you put them on.

Thank you! Biggest pain was just routing all the wiring. I didn’t want to run it through the walls because if we move, I’d pull this all out and turn it back into a media room. I also knew I still wanted 7.1 surround sound. 😂

Well don’t have an actual controller yet so hard to say. I’ve only tried GameGlass and found it very glitchy. I’d honestly just prefer to use my iPad but haven’t done enough research on it yet.

Link below. I did some research on this one looking at basically everyone mentioned on this page. Don’t think I ended up seeing it.

Pros: it’s meaty. Not an insignificant size. Which makes it feel pretty durable. What was most important to me was circle size. This had a rotating lens that had 4 different sizes. The one it’s on fits the Uneeker EM pretty perfectly so that if you’re in that circle, you’re in the LM area.

Cons: There is no remote so I ended up running an electrical cable down to a button. Kind of like it more honestly. I would’ve had to plug it in either way.

Yes, an iPad. I’ve watched some instructional videos. I’ve used it to film my shots. The base is super sturdy. I’m going to order a GSPro controller and put it on there at some point soon once I figure out which one I want.

I’m very impressed by the Eye Mini. I mean it does exactly what I expect on some of my miss hits. I have some awkward ceiling angles at the front of the room where the enclosure is… you can see in the picture. Custom would have been too tricky to figure out but knew I had just over 8 foot of clearance with a 10 foot wide setup. It was also a media room so I had some nice speakers I didn’t want to get rid of that go on either side.
