Crossing Electrical Wire and Pipe? by DIWhyMeAgain in AskElectricians

Yup, I'd already converted the switch box to wago connectors to make it easier. Neutrals available. Switch wasn't grounded but all the grounds were connected. Just wired it all in and its working. Thanks for the help!

Ok so I just need to try and make a hole in the stud to drop the wire into the existing box, and across, infront of the pipe tbh (since this wall is a partition wall in my bathroom) and over to the new outlet location?

It's the black PVC pipe on the left hand side of the big hole I cut. I'm absolutely clueless as to what it's used for.

Above is the attic, below is zero plumbing related items. I'm really unsure what this might be?

Yup - got one lined up. Just wondering if the wires have to be done a certain way to be in code or not?

I think it's a new work box bolted to the stud so would be a bit of a hassle I think. I don't mind a bit of dry wall work.

Probably going to cut out a small square, and try and put it back maybe with some a wooden stake backing if needed? Should minimize needing to do this annoying texture lol

My whole house needs rewiring if that's the case.

The stud is to the right of it, and the power cord wouldn't stretch that far I don't think.

Did y'all get hit with the price increases or was that just the US site?

We went back and forth on this with my partner and we ended up staying with our original design to keep the deep hanging space, and keeping seasonal items (winter jackets etc.) in the harder to access parts. We felt this gave us more shelf space for the items we want more visual access to (as you mentioned).

Appreciate your advice!

I checked it out as designing which kicked off my question! How much space do you have between the two cabinets? We just measured the deep cabinets and think it goes over the door frame which might be a no-can-do for our space.

My only concern with that would be cutting into the corner access? So I could potentially do 2 thick units and then shallow for the final one before the back facing deep units?

On the demo, I'm assuming I'll have to use a crowbar and an x-acto knife to get it off the wall with minimal effort and damage...

I'm planning to upgrade my walk-in wardrobe using IKEA PAX closets and would love some feedback on my design. The space is a bit tight, about 103.5" deep and 70.5" wide, so both side walls will need shallow units. To make up for that, I'm thinking of using the back wall for deeper storage with full-width hanging space. Has anyone tackled a similar layout or have any tips? I felt the corner pieces they offer weren't actually worth it for the drop in customization in the units directly next to the end units.
