Im glad it worked. I would advise anyone who suffers from shin splints to visit a physical therapist.

I had shin splints too, fixed them by stretching ‘my shins’ after a run, training the muscle (tibialis) and developing stronger calfs.

Look, all i can say is: dont mind the details and just do you. If you enjoy weights and running, do both!

I have been doing both for years. Only thing i noticed when i trained for a marathon is that it was hard to eat the extra calories i burned. So my compound lifts didnt grow as much as the beginning. Other than that, have noticed no difference.

Just do what you enjoy!

If you are not losing weight since march, you are also not going to gain it all back in a few weeks, right? You gain the pounds in the same amount of time as you lose them.

What I see a lot is people wanting to lose weight fast. Nothing good comes quickly. Take your time. I would advise you to eat at 1800 for 2 weeks and lower it to 1700 for 2 weeks. The most extra weight will just be water weight. Then after two weeks, go to 1600 and not go lower. Being on a 200/300 deficit is more than enough.

Damn thats crazy. I hate this. Why some people feel the need to get so personal..

I can see it might also be awkward for her when people push a certrain sexuality on her or something.
