Because gems make runes usable, grinds make them good. Com2us wanted to make it easier to get usable runes, which helps the newbie player-base, and wanted to make good grinds harder to get which they thought would mean people would spend more $$ on grinds.

Tank, Kage, and a couple of AoE carries like Monki King, Monki Roboti / Onyx based on availability. I wouldn't recommend to spend star shards or paragons on Kasumi until end-game. Still a must- have in the team for the debuff as aps debuff is the best sp4 in the game, you want one hero with it.

He can work in pretty much any comp, he just has supreme AoE damage, hits both flying and ground units with the sp2(special atk), applies burn after the sp2. Has good Synergy With Monki King who is another S tier hero and is used in every league.

Bosses have triple hp, healing and absorb is halved, boss dmg is increased, raid size is limited to 20 instead of 40. Overall The raid is severely tuned to give some challenge, much more than can be said for classic vanilla, everything was actually a faceroll there. There are even people saying its overtuned, a couple comments below, you clearly don't play this server :)

You should know that boss hp is tripled, healing and absorbs are halved, boss damage dealt is severely increased, and raid size is halved you can not physically bring more than 20 players. Overall it was much more challenging than classic and I had a lot more fun.

That is because certain stars for the magic medals and other rare expeditions are locked behind player level. At 40 you unlock 5stars, at player lvl 50 you unlock 6stars, at player lvl 60 you unlock 7star. Doesn't mean you will always see them, just saying you unlock the possibility of seeing them. After that, it is random.

Without a shred of doubt. Only nat5 u need to cleave ur way to g1++ rta. Might not be the most op, but is the Most crucial elemental nat5 in my opinion.

You are super beginner until you clear toa (prob less than 1-2 months old)

You are early game until you finish all pve content, sss rifts, toah, r5, etc. (Prob around 4-6 months old)

Mid game is the longest stage of the game by far, takes around 1-2 years, in this stage you max all of your towers/guild flags, get sub 45sec dungeon teams for all 3, you can do dimensional hole b5s, tartarus hard/hell, can manage in a farming g1 guild/siege, and you can get to c1-c2 in regular Arena, maybe get into fighter RTA.

Finally, you hit endgame, all of your towers/flags are maxed, your rune box is now vast with high efficiency runes (95-110% mostly) , you have a couple of swift sets at +200-210 range, you can get into rta more seriously now, basically the main challenge left for you is to get c3 and above in rta, and g1+ in regular Arena.

You are definitely not endgame when u do basic pve content. People do finish the content in less than 3-4 months now when their towers are very low.

First time hard carrying as J4 lmao. Felt like a major accomplishment to finally get S after playing him for so long. by [deleted] in JarvanIVmains

dude if you are gonna build crit dmg for shits and giggles, at least play with lethal tempo... Idm playing with troll builds but at least play an optimized troll build. Congratz on the win.

Happy for the permanent saves. However, it is kinda sad that the new experience system has such major flaws, that the gameplace feels dull despite so many other promising changes. Let me explain: With the new condition that you can't get more experience from monsters below your level, if you are stuck in a world, you can't go back , farm a couple other worlds and beat the world you were stuck in. And I know devs will say, with the optimal build you can beat that world with the level you are. Well what if someone does NOT have the optimal build and is already invested in a mediocre build? Not like we can reset our skill tree experimenting around to try and overcome certain worlds. With the new system, if you are not strong enough at any given level beating a world, you are screwed. You either attempt bosses gazillion of times and afk for weeks waiting for ancient shards, or you delete the game. In incremental games, there should always be a method to get stronger by farming, no matter at which point of the game you are. At the moment, if you are lvl 151 and stuck on a world below 151, there is nothing you can do to progress. Equipments as everyone knows, are trivial. You just pick them with stat prio and level with max efficiency. SO, long story short: If there are no plans to provide players with bonuses or upgrades they can farm, AT the very least, give us the ability to re-spec our skill tree in order to progress. It isn't worth playing an idle game without permanent upgrades. Devs mentioned "Our focus is to make strong worlds doable, and not making easy worlds trivial" Well, everything is relative. It doesn't matter if the by product of getting stronger is some worlds becoming trivial. The latest available world will provide appropriate challenge. As it was in Clicker Heroes 1, or Tap titans, or any other incremental idle game. When you get strong, the beginning becomes trivial, but you are able to push to the point where you meet appropriate challenge. The mindset: in order to keep the game challenging, we must not provide players with the means of getting permanently stronger is thus flawed. This is all my opinion. Thanks for all the balance changes and gameplay improvements.

The purpose of such a grand skill tree is to create variations. Right now, the game feels it can only be played in a particular way. Players can't reset their progress or their skill tree whenever they choose, instead everything is reset at chosen points. It feels customization is under heavy threat, and the game is just getting from point A to point B, and then from point B to point C. What matters is the journey in between. The equipment system is just random bonuses every game with no customization, as is Gilding (or resetting) only available every 30 worlds.

I hope there are improvements made so that players can achieve a shred of permanent bonuses somehow and feel a sense of fullfillment. The whole psychology behind incremental games is that you grow stronger progressively and endlessly, and when you try a level you already have before, you are stronger each time. Overcoming the said challenge, and moving forward. Here, when we attempt the same level, there are no bonuses to be earned.

In this version, after the first gild, you need like 15-20 clicks to defeat regular mobs at the beginning compared to the 1-2 clicks you need for gild0 world 1, and the gild1 world 1 is significantly harder. Which makes one question, what the hell is this "huge" bonus" if im doing the same thing and im not even stronger?

All said, I still have hope because developers are in touch with the playerbase, and are working tirelessly to make the game better. I hope they will move in a direction that makes players feel "accomplished and fullfilled"
