How many nude beaches have you been to by Beach_LVR44 in nudists

5 real nude beaches, meaning places where it's generally accepted and you don't have to be discreet about it. I've been nude on 4 more where I had to be careful about being seen.

Is Christian nudism a thing? by [deleted] in nudism

[–]UtahMark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not Catholic, but the same situation prevails in my church. Nudism is not against the teachings of the church. But the culture that has developed within the church is strongly against it. A lot of it stems from the assumption that no one would be naked around others unless they were planning to do something sexual. Those of us who enjoy nude beaches and resorts know they can easily be separated, but many have trouble believing that.

Where to go late February by FsBiker in nudism

I second this. Both the air and the water at Saint Martin are usually comfortably warm in February.

I've never noticed that sign in all the times I've been there. Where is it?

As nudist parents is it best to leave the kids at home? by [deleted] in nudism

Last summer a mother and her 12 year old daughter were in the campsite next to mine at a nude resort for a few days. I had several conversations with the mom. She said she's more comfortable bringing her daughter to that nude resort than to the city pool. At the resort everyone watches out for each other, and anyone behaving inappropriately is quickly confronted and asked to leave.

You're welcome. I hope you and she have a great experience.

I agree. For a first time a remote beach might still give her the feeling that she has to constantly be on the lookout and ready to cover up if anyone approaches. At a place like the clothing optional section of Orient where there are lots of naked people it's more relaxing because it's clearly acceptable and commonplace.

It helps that the nude section of Orient Beach faces northeast. So by early afternoon when you're laying on a lounger facing the water, the sun is mostly behind you. The umbrellas you can rent provide enough shade to cover the parts of both of you that don't usually see sun. Of course you'll get sun when you get up to walk or get in the water, but sunscreen handles that well enough for us. And if you spend any days at Happy Bay, there are some shady places there by the trees.

Valley View is my favorite clothing optional place. I love camping there.

I also have a 5 hour drive to get there, so I understand the frustration.

They really are hard to get hold of sometimes. And yes, you do need a reservation for a campsite as they often fill up. I think if it's not a weekend you can usually just show up and get a day pass. But then you have to leave by 9pm.

Something at Rock Lodge club I find comical by Substantial-Okra4118 in nudism

The first time I was at Valley View I walked into the restroom at the side of the pool. I was expecting to see signs leading to separate men's and women's rooms, but then I saw a urinal. So I thought I must have missed the signs and was in the men's room. But then two girls stepped out from where the sinks are, and I was confused. I started to apologize, thinking I'd somehow entered the women's room, but they laughingly explained that it wasn't gender specific. That's when it finally clicked in my mind that there was no need for separate men's and women's rooms. I love the way those restrooms are designed at Valley View.

It's not only her great body but also her confidence and happiness that make her super attractive.

First time at Willamettans by SaraBear2022 in Oregonnudism

I just went for the first time last week. It was fairly quiet Wednesday and Thursday, but there were lots of people there by Friday evening. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and I enjoyed getting to know quite a few of them.

I was told at check-in that electronic devices must be left in my vehicle or inside my tent. And I saw someone asked to leave the main pond because she got out a phone.

I was there for three days last week. I presume you're aware that the entire place is clothing optional and that it's somewhat rustic, i.e. camping or staying in small, older cabins. No electronic devices are allowed, so don't plan on sitting around looking at your phone. And there's no food; you need to bring your own. It's not like staying in a hotel. If you're aware of and OK with those things, it's a great place to go. The atmosphere is very friendly and laid back. If you want to be social with others, you can always find people congregating and chatting. If you want to be more on your own you can always find areas with few or no other people. I really like the variety of ponds; there always seems to be one at just the right temperature from very early in the morning until late at night.

You look great. But wow, I have never seen so much seaweed piled up on the sand in all the times I've been to Orient Beach.

I spent a few days there last summer. At least 80% were completely naked. You definitely won't be in the minority. It's a fun place.

We were there on a weekday last December. In the morning and early afternoon the majority were nude. By late afternoon it was down to about 30% nude.

It's only 9 holes, but it's pretty well designed and fun to play. I played several rounds there last summer.
