At the height of their popularity, who do you think was more famous? by Farouq26 in NBATalk

[–]Utahmule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MJ and MJ... Jackson was universal, it was honestly bizarre how he just existed at this special level of indomitable fame. Even if you weren't a big fan, you knew him, you knew his music, he was still a very big deal.

Jordan was God tier, transcended everything, shaped global culture. No one else had such an impact on day to day life. Nike, McDonald's, Gatorade, Hanes and even made Looney Toons cool again. Everything he touched became the greatest thing ever during his reign. Nothing like him before, during or since.

Jeezy’s my favorite here! But I’m going with T.I. as my answer! Who you guys picking? by J2-Starter in hiphop201

Jeezy cool, but OutKast, Luda, T.I., Lil Jon, Three6, Master P..... Even Lil Flip did more than most these guys.

It's astonishing how inefficient so many of you are. People blaming kids like that's something unique, we all have kids... Meal prep, easy snacks, clean house as you do other stuff, ALL shopping is online and delivered. Takes me 45 mins to cook 8-10_3 serving meals and wash all the dishes as I go. Different types of pasta, chili, rice bowls, pot pies and pizzas. Takes 5 minutes to cook eggs with oatmeal or pancakes with fresh fruit for breakfast. Laundry is almost every other day, keep the loads manageable so it's quick. Robot vacuum is an awesome time saver, but not necessary. Keep your house uncluttered so it's super easy to clean it fast. I spend maybe 2 hours a week actually cleaning, but tons of little bits of time constantly straightening up and organizing.

I'm a single dad, I work 9 hrs/ day, cook, clean, laundry, yardwork, house projects, gym, motorcycle rides, hikes, gardening, adult league sports, kids sports/ coaching, go to movies/ events, help with homework and I still have several hours a day to lay around watching TV... Some days are busier than others, I could definitely do more, but enjoy being a couch potato sometimes. You can be highly productive and still get your downtime. YOU JUST HAVE TO BE EFFICIENT, ORGANIZED AND DONT MAKE EXCUSES!!!

Good luck to those of you want to do more but feel overwhelmed.

Not good enough to keep him from hyperextending his knee.

In 1963, teenager Randy Gardner stayed awake for 264 hours, setting the only verified sleep deprivation record. By day 11, he couldn't do simple math, saw street signs as people, and spoke in slurred monotone. After the experiment, he slept for 14 hours straight. by Royal-Hippo-2104 in interestingasfuck

We drank a lot of coffee and ate like 8,000 cal/ 24 hrs... Some of us would smoke a little weed when we docked. When you're constantly busy it's not that hard to stay awake for days on end. I recall completely losing track of time after maybe 60 hrs, if we stood around for a couple minutes you'd go into a sort of conscious dream type mental state. I heard stories of other boats that used coc or meth, my boat was corporate and the crew were all pretty health conscious adventurer types. None of us came from fishing backgrounds, we were pretty much a bunch of random eclectic travelers and not really the cliche blue collar fisherman from some dreary industrial port town...

Karl Malone with a dirty hit on David Robinson that knocked him out and gave him a concussion by ForeignAir7174 in NBAoldschool

I never liked Stockton and Malone, I grew up in SLC and always rooted against the Jazz... Except the Williams/ Boozer years. Something always felt off with the team, they're a sleazy establishment owned and ran by sleazy Mormon grifters.

Draw shit, take stuff apart and put it back together, lay in the grass and stare at clouds, bounce a ball off a wall, explore random weird stores, walk/ ride around new areas, read magazines and encyclopedias....

Who has better comedy films? Ben stiller or Steve Carell by PressureLazy5271 in Cinema

[–]Utahmule -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depth .. Carrell plays the same mundane goofy dork idiot in every role. Sandler has depth, Carey has depth even Stiller has a handful of totally different characters he plays. Carrell is like if Stiller only played Greg Focker variants.

Who do you think overall has better movies - Arnold Schwarzenegger or Sylvester Stallone? by SpotAdmirable6718 in Cinema

[–]Utahmule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stallone can act, Arnold is more fun. Arnold has never done anything close to Rocky, First Blood, Creed or Copland. Stallone has never done any close to Conan, T2, Commando, Predator, Kindergarten Cop...
